Vanilla Mint Ice Cream

It is now July, and our lovely little garden is even more lush, vibrant, and productive than ever.   Despite all of the time I have been spending in the kitchen and caring for plants, it also seems as if activity on my blog, inbox, and social streams has also been increasing immensely by the day… Each time I look in to say hello, I find even more friendly comments from lovely new people asking questions and offering positive words of gratitude.   I have been feeling so blessed and grateful for...

Juice Pulp Artistry

This month I was presented with the best gift ever, as an offering for my birthday/23rd Veganniversary/”get well soon” (how long does it take to fully recover from a broken knee,  anyway?)/Lorax Communuity project & book helper – a Sedona RAW FOOD dehydrator from Tribest! Despite having been unable to eat any of my own experiments over the past few weeks (I have been fasting & juicing only), my “taster” assured me that this particular batch was divine and tasted “very much like salted butter.”...

Abstinence

This year will mark my 23rd “veganniversary”, and also my 7th full calendar year of maintaining an entirely raw diet. Over the course of time since having begun my transition into veganism in 1990, I have periodically chosen to alter my lifestyle in various ways for different reasons (which is essentially how I evolved to eliminate gluten, refined sugar, cooked, and acid forming foods from my diet). I am not actually a devotee of the 80/10/10 LFRV (low fat raw vegan) ideology (especially not since...
